PURPOSE: An entrapped gas bubble collector, an entrapped gas detector and an entrapment inspection method are provided to collect bubbles securely and efficiently in aerating external air in the sealed water pipe system, to detect entrapped gas simply and accurately in the water pipe system, and to inspect the entrapment portion quickly by the detector. CONSTITUTION: An entrapped gas bubble collector(20) collects bubbles under water in a sealed water pipe system(10) insulated from the atmosphere. Water obtained from the sealed water pipe system is streamed through high speed sections(31,32) for guiding flow at high speed by the small section passage, and low speed sections(41,42) for guiding flow at low speed by the large section passage. A vertical pipe part(42b) is vertically formed from the low speed sections, and bubbles from water is lifted up in the vertical pipe part and integrated into gas. Entrapment bubbles are expanded or detected in the first low speed section, and lifted up in the second low speed section.
