PURPOSE: To provide an apparatus for improving packing operation productivity of galvanized steel sheet by automatically and promptly inserting inner circumferential rings into an inner diameter portion of strip coil in the state that side plates are attached to both sides of the strip coil, thereby reducing packing time of the galvanized steel sheet. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus(1) for automatically inserting inner circumferential rings into strip coil comprises a hydraulic unit base(10) in which a hydraulic unit is installed to lift and lower a fixed table(12); an inner circumferential ring mounting part(30) comprising a guide rod(27) on which a plurality of the inner circumferential rings are mounted by inserting the plurality of the inner circumferential rings onto the guide rod on a moving member that is movable forward and backward along rails(22) in an upper part of the hydraulic unit base; a rotary part(70) comprising rotary cylinders(72) installed at one side of the moving member to rotate the guide rod from the vertical state to the horizontal state or vice versa; and an inner circumferential ring insertion part comprising operation rods and back and forth moving cylinders installed at one side of a support(32) on which the rails are mounted so that the operation rods and the back and forth moving cylinders push the inner circumferential rings inserted onto the guide rod into an inner diameter part of the strip coil, and motors(96) for rotationally driving the operation rods.
