PURPOSE: A near infrared ray absorption composite and a near infrared ray absorption filter are provided to prevent operation error of surrounding electronic apparatus with good weather resistance. CONSTITUTION: The near infrared ray absorption composite includes a transparent resin, and at least one kind of dithiol nikel compound and/or at least one kind of diiimmonium compound. The near infrared ray absorption composite further includes at least one kind of dithiol nikel compound, and also includes a pigment compound having an absorption peak in the wavelength range of 580¯600 nm. The transparent resin is a kind of resin or a blend resin selected from a group constituted with polycarbonate, polyarylate, polyester, norbornene, polyvinyl alcohol, polyvinyl butyral and methacryl.
