VOC TREATMENT APPARATUS FOR COATING FACILITY IN WHICH HOT AIR FOR DESORPTION IS SUPPLIED OPPOSITELY TO ADSORPTION DIRECTION OF VOCs BY CARTRIDGE TYPE ACTIVATED CARBON FILTERS HORIZONTALLY INSERTED IN MULTISTAGE
PURPOSE: To provide a VOC treatment apparatus for coating equipment capable of performing adsorption operation of VOCs(volatile organic compounds) more efficiently, minimizing overheating of the apparatus due to supply of hot air and reducing danger of a fire accordingly. CONSTITUTION: A VOC treatment apparatus for coating equipment comprises an adsorption unit(10) for primarily adsorbing VOCs(volatile organic compounds) flown in from various coating facilities(1) by activated carbon filters, and an adsorption reaction unit(20) for finally removing the volatile organic compounds by supplying the desorbed volatile organic compounds to a heater and a catalyst reactor after desorbing the volatile organic compounds from the activated carbon filters, wherein the adsorption unit comprises a housing(11) to a lower part of which a ventilation duct(8) of the coating facility is connected, an exhaust duct(16) connected to an upper part of the housing, and a filter part(12), activated carbon filters(13) and an exhaust fan(15) that are stacked in the housing, wherein the activated carbon filters are inserted into the housing in a shape of horizontal multistage cartridges removable from the housing, and the adsorption reaction unit comprises a heater(24) and a catalyst reactor(25) installed on an exhaust pipe(26) of a turbo blower(22), a hot air supply pipe(27) branched off from the exhaust pipe(26) at the upper side of the catalyst reactor and inserted into the upper side of the respective activated carbon filters through the housing of the adsorption unit, and a suction pipe(23) connected to the turbo blower and inserted into the lower side of the activated carbon filters through the housing of the adsorption unit.
