Catalyst arrangement has a cavity that provides a closed path for moving charged particles such as protons, electrons and ions, where the path has an odd number of intersection points. Magnetic fields guide and focus the particles in the path. The path and the field component are measured, so that an integral in the component runs over the entire circumference of path, where the component is perpendicular to the path level. An independent claim is also included for an application of the above catalyst arrangement.
