A stroke command value generating section (10) produces fluctuated stroke command value. A control section (30) regulates voltage applied to the motor in a reciprocating motion type compressor (40) based on the generated stroke command value. A magnetic flux saturation constant arithmetic section (80) calculates magnetic flux saturation constant of the motor based on stroke assessed value of compressor. An independent claim is also included for a reciprocating motion type compressor operation control method.
