The process involves identifying a user from a remote computer system, and selecting a time interval of usage of a medium of payment by a user. The selected time interval is verified during an attempt for usage of the payment medium through a transaction terminal. A usage of the payment medium is rejected if the attempt of the usage of the payment medium does not correspond to a selected reference. An independent claim is also included for a computer system for authorizing usage of resource.
