The device (10) has a generator device (1) for generating optical pumping illumination. A device (2) is constituted of several layers (21-23) laid one over the other. The device (1) is situated opposite to the device (2), to send a pumping signal (5) parallel to a working optical signal (4), for carrying out front end illumination of an optical detector (3) and the device (2). The device (10) is situated in upstream of the detector. An independent claim is also included for a set comprising a detector and an optical signal amplifying device.
