摘要

The method involves counting a number of different values in a point (x) associated with erroneous components of received word. An errors correction algorithm e.g. Forney algorithm, adapted to a Reed-Solomon code is implemented in order to calculate transmission errors on the components of the Reed-Solomon code word. An estimation of the respective errors on the components is calculated by solving a system of equations. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) An encoded digital signal receiving apparatus comprising a decoder having an errors correction device for decoding algebraic geometric code (B) a fixed data storage medium comprising instruction of a computer program code for executing a method for decoding algebraic geometric code (C) a partially or totally removable data storage medium comprising instruction of a computer program code for executing a method for decoding algebraic geometric code.
