PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a modeling method for allowing feature based-parametric modeling and direct modeling whose phase is changed coexist. PSOLUTION: A computer executes a division step for dividing the model of a compilation operation object by a feature parametric modeling program into two or more shapes, a direct modeling object designation step for defining the two or more shapes divided by the division step as the object to be edited by a direct modeling program excluding at least one shape, and for associating feature by the feature parametric modeling program with the excluded shape, and for storing it in a feature storing means and a re-connection step for re-connecting the two or more shapes divided by the division step.
