PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform diversity synthesis in which time variation is suppressed. PSOLUTION: In SD1a, complex correlation between a receiving signal and a synthetic signal is obtained. In SD2a, smoothing processing is performed by using a forgetting factor set to 0.9. Completely similarly, complex correlation between the receiving signal and the synthetic signal is obtained to perform smoothing processing. In SD3, a square sum (real number) is calculated from two smoothed complex correlation values. In SD4a, the smoothed complex correlation value which is an output from the SD2a is divided by the square sum calculated by the SD3. Thus an amplitude correction coefficient is updated and outputted to a complex multiplier. Completely similarly, the smoothed complex correlation value which is the output from the SD2a is divided by the square sum calculated by the SD3 and the amplitude correction coefficient is updated and outputted to a complex multiplier 202b.
