PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To grasp the specialty field of an order receiving candidate in advance when procuring software.;SOLUTION: A software procurement supporting device 10 is equipped with a communication part 11, an information processing part 12 and a processing part 13 for controlling both the parts. The processing part 13 includes a candidate retrieving part 131 and a candidate providing part 132. When receiving the order conditions regarding software to be procured corresponding to a language and machine type from an order side terminal 30, the candidate retrieving part 131 retrieves the order receiving candidates of the software to be procured meeting with the order conditions from a recorded data file 124. The candidate providing part 132 extracts the results of failure confirmation tests regarding the procured software entities that were actually ordered in the past from the recorded data file 124, correlates the extracted test results to the order receiving candidate and provides the correlation to the order side terminal 30.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
