PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for spinning side-by-side type conjugated fibers provided with a crimp form having a uniform shape and capable of developing regular crimp pitches. ;SOLUTION: Quench air is straightened and made to flow in the direction intersecting the running direction of extruded conjugate fibers y at nearly right angles and the extruded side-by-side type conjugated fibers y are spun by doubling the laminating direction of the side-by-side conjugate fibers y into one direction so that the side of (A) a polymer having a high viscosity or high shrinkability is located on the windward side of the quench air and (B) a polymer having a low viscosity or low shrinkability is located on the leeward side of the quench air when spinning the side-by-side type conjugated fibers y of the polymer (A) and the polymer (B).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
