摘要

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a barn in no need of a septic tank and a method for treating livestock excreta in a barn wherein the livestock excreta are decomposed and fermented by using microorganism and the livestock are bred on the fermentation bed to solve the problem of the bad smell from the excreta and produce livestock of good meat quality in low cost, thereby enabling the sound development of livestock industry. PSOLUTION: A concave groove is prepared at the central part in the ground of the barn site and the fermentation bed is formed for extending bed covering in the concave groove. A plurality of partitioned rooms each having a space for only one animal raised on both sides of the fermentation bed whereby the barn according to this invention is provided.
