A method of genetic marking and selecting trees with a large amount of heterozygous seed in natural populations of the Pinus sylvestris L. var. cretacea includes electrophoretic separation of isoenzymes and determination of the genotypes according to isozyme loci data. The isoenzyme loci of malate dehydrogenase Mdh-2 and Mdh-3 and glutamate dehydrogenase Gdh are used as the genetic markers of trees.
