Method involves forming of conveying equipment by the conveyor (4), which is placed on the floor (3) of deposits along the mining front (2) of deposits and it is moved forward by means of rear mechanisms on the mining front. Conveyor has guiding mechanism (14,16) by which extraction equipment (11) is guided along the mining front. Rear mechanisms are distributed along the mining front and a mobile vehicle (40) is placed against the rear mechanism directly or indirectly as appropriate. An independent claim is also included for extraction device of surface mining.
