The carrier has a carrying container (2) with a central wall parallel to longitudinal walls. Cross bars between the longitudinal walls and the central wall forms cubical in the container for accommodating beverage bottles. Openings (12.1, 12.2, 13.1, 13.2) are provided in the proximity of lower edge of front walls of the container. The openings are so created that bulged lower edge of the bottles is partially set into the openings. An independent claim is also included for a carrier system for bottles.
