PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide paving as a countermeasure against the heat island phenomena, which is capable of suppressing heat accumulated by solar radiation and of quickly discharging the heat.;SOLUTION: Paving material 1 used as a countermeasure against the heat island phenomena comprises a surfacing material 1s capable of reflecting solar radiation and steel fibers 10 as metal fibers which are thermally conductive. And the paving material 1 for the countermeasure against the heat island comprises cement CM, water H, fine aggregate S, coarse aggregate G, a water reducing agent SP and steel fibers 10 which are all mixed together and poured as schematically illustrated in Fig. 1.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
