PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information acquisition device for acquiring and transmitting various information in a present location together with position information, and an information collecting device for receiving the transmitted information through an information communication network and registering, on the basis of the position information, acquired information in association therewith. PSOLUTION: The information acquisition device 1 acquires the position information and other information in the present location. The position information and acquired information are transmitted in a store and forward type information package like e-mail to the information communication network 3. The information collecting device 2 receives the information package in a mail box on the information communication network 3 as an MUA (mail user agent). The information collecting device 2 extracts the position information and acquired information from the received information package and forms a database of the acquired information based on the position information.
