DEVICE, METHOD, PROGRAM FOR PROCESSING TWO-DIMENSIONAL CAD DATA AND CLOSED AREA IDENTIFICATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically recognize a floor plan of two-dimensional CAD data.;SOLUTION: The two-dimensional CAD data is constituted of a plurality of layers such as a building frame layer in which walls and pillars, etc. are specified, a furniture layer in which furniture is specified and a character layer in which characters are specified by specifying elements by every type. A three-dimensional CAD device in a form of implementation specifies building frames (walls and pillars) by extracting parallel lines drawn within predetermined time intervals from the building frame layer and guesses the region (position) in which the furniture is disposed from arrangement of the extracted building frame. Then, the region guessed that a furniture element exists is collated with the furniture layer and when the element exists in the region which is guessed that the furniture exists, the element is recognized as the furniture. Furthermore, a line chart consisting of segments is created by connecting a center line of the building frame to a datum line of the furniture and rooms are specified by detecting the closed region in the line chart.
