PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new use as an inhibitor against vascularization, cell growth and cellular transfer of thymosinSB10/SBprotein, targeting an Ras signal transduction pathway playing an important role in the process of cell division, cell growth and blood vessel formation. PSOLUTION: ThymosinSB10/SBprotein is combined with Ras-GTP, isolates Ras-GTP, obstructs combination of Ras-GTP with Raf, reduces an amount of Ras-GTP/Raf complex and controls expression of vascular endothelial growth factor so as to control vascularization, cellular transfer and/or cell growth occurring in human body tissue. Consequently, the thymosinSB10/SBprotein is effectively used for treating diseases associated with vascularization, cell growth and/or cellular transfer caused by activation of Ras signal transduction pathway, for example, various solid cancers such as ovarian cancer, cervical cancer, stomach cancer, lung cancer, etc., rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis, diabetic retinopathy, etc. PCOPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
