A method of manufacturing Korean traditional cookies(Hangwa) by coating a fried rice cake base containing glutinous rice flour, sugar and distilled liquor(Soju) with sap of Acer mono Maxim. and powdered bean is provided. The cookies have a nutty taste and crispy texture and a reduced amount of sugar by sugar contained in sap of Acer mono Maxim. One hundred parts by weight of glutinous rice flour is kneaded with 1 to 5 parts by weight of distilled liquor and 10 to 20 parts by weight of sap of Acer mono Maxim., heated, cut and fried in oil to produce a fried rice cake base. One hundred parts by weight of corn syrup is mixed with 10 to 30 parts by weight of concentrated sap of Acer mono Maxim. to produce sap syrup of Acer mono Maxim. Then the fried rice cake base is coated with the sap syrup of Acer mono Maxim. and powdered bean.
