The plate (1) has a body disposed along a transport route and designed in an elastic and continuous manner. The body overlies on the underground with a discontinuously or continuously running edge (9) and has a fastening unit for fastening to the underground. A cascaded recess (8) is formed at an intersection point of a facet. The body has an opened hollow space that points towards the underground, where the fastening unit is guided through the hollow space. The hollow space has larger volume than necessary for leading through the fastening unit.
