The discriminator has a set of radar detection filters for a set of remote radar cases to filter and provide correlation signals representative of the results of filtering, where the filtering is done by fast Fourier transformation. A neural system (NS) with a learning base receives the correlation signals of different filters and provides an object type identification signal according to the set of correlation signals. Each filter is associated with a processing device that provides characteristics of the correlation signals to the neural system.
