Machine part`s e.g. engine, resistance and rupture predicting method for motor vehicle, involves calculating maximum coefficient of danger by averaging coefficient of danger of Dang Van criterion on solicitations modeled by using formula
The method involves modeling solicitations by a stable Gaussian function. Power spectral density of the solicitations are calculated, and power spectral density of stress in points of a machine part are calculated according to calculated power spectral density. Statistic magnitude of stress are calculated according to the calculated power spectral density of stress. A maximum coefficient of danger is calculated in a zone (13) by averaging coefficient of danger of a Dang Van criterion on the solicitations modeled by using an asymptotic formula, to dimension fatigue behavior of the part. An independent claim is also included for a computer program comprising a set of instructions for performing a machine part`s resistance and rupture predicting method.
