PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine the number or form of a distribution function without previously setting a model.;SOLUTION: Discrete data of a statistical distribution by statistic data or spectral intensity distribution by optical measurement or the like are input and are divided into a section of a finite length, a prediction coefficient ak,n is calculated by use of the discrete data in each section by a prediction coefficient calculation part 12, a K number of complex numbers wk, n satisfying a prescribed relational expression are calculated by a physical amount calculation part 13, and a real part of the complex number wk,n having a non-zero imaginary part is plotted by a display part 14.
