PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manage a consistent photographing plan and image collection in order to make a photographing plan over a wide range, collect many images and manage image data associated with geographical information. PSOLUTION: A system for managing image data associated with geographical information comprises: an image photographing subsystem including a mobile means loaded with an image data collection means for collecting images as image data together with photographing time and a positional data collection means for collecting the photographing position coordinates of the images; an image data edition subsystem including a map data display means, image data display means and a link start-end point transit time registering means for recording transit time between a start point and an end point of a map link; and a storage apparatus including a graph structure database, a camera information database, a plan-real photographing information database, a collected image database, collected image attribute information database, and a link-associated information database.
