The device comprises a sleeve (1) which contains a foldable bag (2) and can be secured to any type of dog lead (5). The sleeve is made from a washable material and contains an opening via which the bag can be removed. Fasteners (4) at either end of the sleeve allow it to be secured to the lead handle and an additional fastener system (6) is used to secure it to the lead itself. The bag is also made from a washable material and its top side may be secured to or inside the sleeve. A fastener system may be provided for detaching the bag from the sleeve. The top and bottom sides of the bag can be open or closed and may be provided with fasteners for opening and closing them. One or more empty dog litter bags or universal bags can be stored inside the foldable bag, which can be unrolled in order to enable it to be used to store one or more bags filled with dog litter. These bags can be emptied either by opening the sleeve and tipping the contents out or by removing the dog litter bags from the foldable bag.
