METHOD FOR PROVIDING 3D STEREOSCOPIC IMAGE BROADCASTING IN BROADCASTING TERMINAL AND BROADCASTING TERMINAL THEREOF

A method for providing 3D stereoscopic image broadcasting in a broadcasting terminal and a broadcasting terminal thereof are provided to supply a user with optimized 3D stereoscopic image broadcasting by displaying the 3D stereoscopic image broadcasting in consideration of kind and performance of a display panel, and control a depth of the 3D stereoscopic image broadcasting according to tastes of the user. A method for providing 3D stereoscopic image broadcasting in a broadcasting terminal comprises the following steps of: receiving a broadcasting signal including first and second source images for generating 3D stereoscopic image(S201); generating the 3D stereoscopic image by using the received first and second source images(S202,S205); displaying the generated 3D stereoscopic image; and controlling and displaying a depth of the 3D stereoscopic image so as to be corresponded to a key signal if the key signal is inputted(S206,S207).
