The method involves carrying unmanned reconnaissance drones (14, 16) in combat helicopters (10, 12), and launching the reconnaissance drones into an operational area from the flying combat helicopters. Reconnaissance data are transmitted to the helicopters from the drones. The drones are launched by a weapon system/launcher of the combat helicopters, and are assisted by a booster, attached to the drones, in a starting phase of the drones. The drones are destroyed after completion of a reconnaissance mission.
