The head hood (10) has an oil separator (11) including a centrifugal chamber (13) extending in a longitudinal direction (21). A tube shaped mantle wall (14) extends in the direction. A gas inlet (18) is arranged tangential to the wall for tangential injection of blow-by gas into the chamber, to produce a screw shaped rotating gas turbulent flow (20) via the wall along the direction, in the chamber. The gas inlet has a gas outlet opening (25) arranged in an area of a discharge-lateral end (22) of the gas turbulent flow.
