The device has a path with a multiplexing unit that is used for multiplexing a sub-assembly of optical light sources (S1-S4) in wavelength and generating an optical light beam, which presents a polarization state. Another path has another multiplexing unit for multiplexing another sub-assembly of optical light sources in wavelengths and generating another optical light beam, which presents another polarization state. A third multiplexing unit multiplexes the former and latter optical light beams in polarization, and delivers a third optical light beam with broad spectral width.
