The dome has a bulged body obtained by cutting a metal sheet, and delimiting a contact zone (36) arranged in a plane tangential to the body. The body has a central projection (50) arranged at center of the body and remote from periphery of the body. Another contact zone (46) between the former zone and the projection is arranged in projection from a hollow side of the dome. Projecting distance of the contact zone (46) is such that the contact zone (46) reaches the tangential plane before the central projection during handling of the dome by applying a force towards the tangential plane.
