The method involves introducing a cylindrical tube (1), of large diameter, in a well/pipe after radial expansion of the tube by using an inflatable bladder (3) such that a wall of the tube is applied against a wall of the well/pipe, where the tube is formed of tube sections (10) fixed end-to-end. The radial expansion is not carried out on entire length of the tube, and is carried out in three expanded zones (4) of the tube. The zones are spaced relative to each other by non-expanded zones (5) such that total length of the zones (4) is five times lower than that of the zones (5).
