SORTING SYSTEM FOR WASTE PLASTICS AND SORTING METHOD OF WASTE PLASTICS

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sorting system for waste plastics, a system can improve sorting efficiency and accuracy, reduce a load of workers, and curtail labor cost, and also to provide a sorting method of waste plastics. PSOLUTION: This is a system 100 for sorting waste plastics from refuse 1 containing recyclable plastic wastes. The system is characterized in that it includes: a bag breaking apparatus 20 for sorting refuse 1 into difficultly deformable objects comprising hard matters and easily deformable objects comprising soft matters; a rotary sieve 30 for difficultly deformable objects, by which a residue is removed from the difficultly deformable objects sorted by the bag breaking apparatus 20 or a conveyor/sorter 40 for difficultly deformable objects; and an optical sorter 50 for difficultly deformable objects, by which waste plastics are sorted from the difficultly deformable objects with the residue removed by the rotary sieve 30 or the conveyor/sorter 40.
