METHOD FOR EVALUATING SOLIDIFICATION PROPERTY OF STEEL SLAG, AND METHOD FOR EVALUATING ANTI-CONSOLIDATING AGENT OF STEEL SLAG

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for evaluating solidification properties of steel slag even in one test piece and in one test accurately with sufficient repeatability and almost no dispersion, and a method for evaluating solidification properties with sufficient repeatability even when adding an anti-consolidating agent and also the performance of the anti-consolidating agent.;SOLUTION: In the method for evaluating the solidification properties of steel slag, a steel slag molding molded using the steel slag to be evaluated is used as a sample, and a propagation time of elastic wave propagated between two positions in the sample is continuously measured to evaluate the solidification properties of the steel slag from changes with the lapse of the propagation time. Further, the anti-consolidating performance of the anti-consolidating agent is evaluated from the evaluated result of the solidification properties of the steel slag in the steel slag molding to which the anti-consolidating agent is added. The solidification properties and the effect of the anti-consolidating agent in optional conditions are estimated using a parameter indicating the solidification properties of the slag obtained from the evaluated result, and a parameter indicating the anti-consolidating performance.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
