PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a passive safety grade residual heat removal system that always supplies normal temperature air of a certain temperature or higher to an AHX by supplying heated air in a CACS air outlet channel to an AHX air flow channel inlet appropriately using waste heat of a reactor component air cooling system (CACS;Cavity Air Cooling System) used for cooling the reactor component, and fundamentally eliminates sodium solidification possibility in a sodium loop for heat removal in the whole operation duration of an electric power plant. PSOLUTION: The passive safety grade residual heat removal system connects a high-temperature heated air outlet channel of the passive reactor component air cooling system (CACS) used for cooling a reactor vessel and a reactor component in the whole operation duration of the electric power plant to an air channel of the sodium-air heat exchanger (AHX), and has an additional air-air heat exchanger disposed in the heated air outlet channel of the reactor component air cooling system and outside the air flow channel inlet pipe of the sodium-air heat exchanger. Also when the external air temperature falls to -40C (reference temperature considered in designing), normal temperature external air of a certain temperature or higher is supplied to the inlet of the sodium-air heat exchanger.
