PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a foldable development for automatically setting a pop-up area, automatically setting a bending position and a cutting position as well and projecting and forming a three-dimensional solid specialized in a person area further by automatically detecting a face and detecting a body. PSOLUTION: The foldable development preparation apparatus includes: an image data acquisition means for acquiring image data; a face detection means for detecting the face area of a person from the image data acquired in the image data acquisition means; a body detection means for detecting the body area of the person from the image data acquired in the image data acquisition means; and a foldable area setting means for setting a pop-up area to be projected and formed from the face area detected in the face detection means and the body area detected in the body detection means and setting a pop-up amount, a cutting line, a dent-forming bending line and a peak-forming bending line.
