PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alkaline phosphatase activity measuring reagent stably available for a longtime free from degeneration, decomposition or reduction of efficacy of the ingredients in the reagent or mixture caused by reduction of pH in a condition in which the reagent is opened and contacting with air.;SOLUTION: The reagent consists of a first reagent and a second reagent, wherein the first reagent not contains a buffer or contains a buffer with concentration of 0.1 M or below, contains 4-nitrophenyl phosphoric acid or its salt and has 5-9 of pH, and the second reagent contains a buffer with at least 3 M of concentration. The invention relates to the method for stabilizing the alkaline phosphatase activity measuring reagent, wherein the first reagent contains no buffer or contains the buffer with concentration of 0.1 M or below and contains 4-nitrophenyl phosphoric acid or its salt and has pH of 5-9, and the second reagent contains the buffer with at least 3 M of concentration.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
