The telephone (1) has an additional system of electronics and inductively coupled antenna integrated, and enabling inductive magnetic coupling. A data transmission (2) to a base station (5) is enabled by inductive coupling (4). A power supply of a transponder and a data transmission from and to the transponder take place by the inductive coupling. An information of the transponder is represented and/or processed at the telephone in an inventory management area e.g. logistics or for product information for a customer in a retail industry.
