The device has a pneumatic conveying section exhibiting a conveying line such as pipes and hoses. The pneumatic conveying section is arranged between an artificial snow production plant and an artificial snow processing plant. The artificial snow production plant is accommodated in a silo. The artificial snow processing plant is a mixer i.e. concrete mixer. A positive pressure generator produces compressed gas for driving snow through the conveying section. A negative pressure generator produces negative pressure gas for suction of the snow through the conveying section. An independent claim is also included for a method for conveying the artificial snow.
