The box has a base (1) and guiding devices for positioning a solar cell wafer within the box, and four guiding angles (8) arranged at a top side of the base coaxial to a centre axis (3) and consisting of an angle (9) with two centering bars (10). A stack wall (12) with a gripping opening is provided at two opposite sides of the base. A supporting base (14) is provided with an external configuration that is designed such that the supporting base is guided at the centering bars. A recess (16) is provided at a side of the base, and an opening (4) is provided at the base in the centre axis.
