The method involves forming a U-shaped metallic insert (11) from a metallic profile in combination with overmolding for corresponding pedal or lever, where the metallic profile is selected from section, a concave space comprising the insert, and mechanical characteristics. A pressurized injection mold is formed from a thermoplastic material, where the mold permits pressurized injection of a fluid in the space. A plastic material is injected in the mold, and the fluid is injected by using a needle through an orifice to carry out demolding after cooling. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a direct drive brake pedal comprising passage orifices (2) an offset drive brake pedal comprising a shoe.
