The system (1) has a lower element forming a base support (5), and an intermediate element forming a permanent formwork element (6). An upper element forms a ceramic external finishing slab (2) to form a shower basin. The permanent formwork element creates a reservation at the finishing slab during casting of concrete floor screed. The lower element is formed by an expanded polystyrene block, and is fixed on a primary slab of an infrastructure before forming the concrete screed and a final cladding i.e. tile floor. An independent claim is also included for a method for implementing an Italian shower basin installation system.
