The device e.g. compression screw, has a body presenting two internal proximal threadings and external distal threadings. A nut is provided for tightening and compressing fracture of femoral neck, where the screw is self threaded, and includes an axial bore permitting sliding of the screw on a guide pin. The nut includes an internal thread and an external thread.
