PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production cost calculation device and a production cost calculation method allowing the accurate calculation of material cost per kind consumed in a production device. PSOLUTION: Equipment processing information acquisition part 3 obtains a material consumption amount 54 per processing from the production device 2, and stores it in a storage part 5 associatively with a processing kind 55. When the processing kind 55 is product processing, the material consumption amount 54 per processing is further associated with the kind and stored in the storage part 5. A material consumption cost arithmetic means 41 calculates the material cost 510 from a preset material unit price and the material consumption amount 54 per processing. A kind-classified material cost arithmetic means 43 calculates kind-classified production cost 512 from the material cost of each kind and the material cost wherein the processing kind distributed to each kind at a rate corresponding to processing results of each kind processed in the production device 2is non-product processing.
