PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a submerged pipeline system for transport of water, preferably, drinking water.;SOLUTION: The pipe sections 7 are fitted at each end of the pipe with a cylindrical spigot 2 having dimensions and threading suitable to engage with the bell ends 1 of coupling devices, wherein the pipe sections are made of an engineering thermoplastic material 6 and wherein the spigots and the coupling devices are made of a cured resin composition. For manufacturing the submerged pipeline, the pipe sections and the coupling devices are engaged with an insertion joint in a marine assembly location. End-pieces provided with the cylindrical spigot that may be used as an intermediate in the preparation of the above pipe sections are prepared.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
