PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rapid and simple method for detecting the DNA's binding to a transcription-regulating factor by solving the problem of the Achilles' heel cleavage method because such as a method is desired in view of the problem of the Achilles' heel cleavage method.;SOLUTION: The subject fluorescent probe consists of a solid carrier and double-stranded DNA fixed onto the solid carrier at one end for detecting the binding between the DNA and a transcription-regulating factor, wherein the double-stranded DNA contains a construct obtained by serially linking the recognition sequence of a class II-S restriction enzyme, the cleavage site of the class II-S restriction enzyme, and a fluorescence-labeled sequence from the solid carrier side in this order.
