PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a static hazard detection device, static hazard detection method and program capable of automatically checking whether a static hazard can occur even in a logic circuit whereinto a control signal for controlling propagation of a timing exception signal such as a multi-cycle signal is introduced.;SOLUTION: The static hazard detection device is provided with: a check target extraction unit 110 for receiving input of logic circuit information representing a logic circuit, and extracting a plurality of sets of a start point register and an end point register from among registers in the logic circuit represented by the received logic circuit information, wherein the start point register outputs an exception signal to be supplied to the end point register through a propagation control circuit; and a static hazard detection unit 120 for detecting from among the plurality of sets extracted by the check target extraction unit 110 the set having a plurality of paths wherethrough an exception signal can be propagated from a start point register to an end point register when a signal level of a control signal for controlling the state of the propagation control circuit is at a level to inhibit propagation of the exception signal.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
