In the present invention, there is disclosed a lancet (10) containing a lancet needle (1) with a tip (2) and a body (3) of the lancet (10), which completely surrounds the needle (1) of the lancet (10) at least in the area of the tip (2). The tip (2) is movable relatively to the body (3) of the lancet (10). The body (3) of the lancet (10) is made, at least in the area of the tip (2) of the lancet needle (1), of a soft and deformable material. The tip (2) of the lancet needle (1) is embedded in the soft and deformable material, without leaving any cavity, before its use. Further, there is described a lancet set, lancet magazine and the use of the soft and deformable material as a part of the lancet.
